The 24 hours of Florida on MTB, Puerto Rico.

     The pioneer in the Caribbean, this endurance race is the first in his class in all the region of the Caribbean and Latin America.  Since 2004 it's been held in the island of Puerto Rico, in the municipality of Florida. At the moment, this municipality is one of the most active in the promotion of the sport of mountain biking in the island. This race lasts 24 hours and the same one consists of managing to cross the greater number of  laps to the circuit in the 24 hours period; yes it is run at night. In order to make this, the runners use a special kit of illumination in the bicycles. There are several Categories available to participate, which appear to continuation. There will be an average of US$3,000 in prizes. Also CASH prizes for the rider who makes a NEW LAP (Distance) Record.

 The event will be held on August 2 - 3 / 2008. Begins at 12 noon. Event begins in the ground of the Ballpark: Rafael "Fello" Marrero with a Le-Mans Style start of approximately 300mts soon to follow in the mountain bikes (MTB). 

Categories available: SOLO M, SOLO F**, Single Speed (SS), Duo and 5-Rider Team. 

Prizes will be available for the first 5 places in every category.
